Hello Denizens!
I apologize for not keeping up as well as I should have with the morality(?) labyrinth, and it did turn out to be more intensive than some players were able to keep up with themselves, so I am including a handwave option for people to quickly know what to happen to wrap-up their run with complete details below:
This part was more or less straight-forward. There was the option to speak to a Head Oracle for more details about the disappearing future, or the Chief Advisor for details about the Kingdom itself. Generally there was only so much you could find out, but you could learn that it was unheard of for Oracles to suddenly stop seeing a future and also that the Chief Advisor's scouts have seen a great storm circling around the Kingdom. They're NPCs available for each round, though their answers after this one will be tailored more to the individual player's run depending on need, so there are no more concrete answers than what will be provided each round.
While some of this knowledge could influence plans going forward (as part of your speech) the ultimate choice is: Do you tell people about the end of the world to warn them, or do you keep quiet for now?
Thiiiis round is where things get a little more personalized. There are a few people who got some unique responses to this due to their choices and some people ended up getting something far off from what I planned for. However the default for this round is that a Traitor (or some variation of criminal) has been brought to you to face punishment for being a threat to the Kingdom. The sort of threat was dependent on your choice:
- If you chose to tell the people, your Traitor would be someone inciting chaos and instability in the Kingdom when the end.
- If you chose not to tell the people, your Traitor would be a rogue Oracle threatening to share the news of the foretold end themselves.
Either way, the Chief Advisor recommends execution to either make an example of the Traitor or to simply eliminate a threat to the Kingdom. The ultimate choice is: Do you execute an individual that is a threat to your Kingdom?
Your options are:
- Self-sacrifice for the greater good (regardless of what turmoil that'll cause).
- Sacrifice your people so that you may live and continue to provide stability to the Kingdom (regardless of...well...murder...)
- Step outside of your room with the knowledge that you may very well have damned your Kingdom and discover SPOILERS you can leave the Labyrinth through the Storm you may have learned about previously. (...with some ability to crash in on someone else's room and maybe influence their decision if saaaay, they were someone lining up for self-sacrifice but didn't really want to embrace death -- or room to just electrocute yourself into unconsciousness. I was more than willing to flexible here.)
Ultimately the final responsibility is: making your decision and informing the people of it.
If you weren't able to have a run, or will be unable to finish what you have, you can go ahead and comment to this post with the choices you'd have made for each round. If you're wrapping up an incomplete run, just mention which choices you'd have already made.

Three Years Until The End
You are the ruler of the Kingdom of _____ and you will decide the people's fate... Your kingdom is fated to be destroyed in three years, though they know not how it will be destroyed. At best, they can only describe the impending doom as watching the future growing dimmer and dimmer, until everything after is nothing but darkness.
You are the ruler of a Kingdom that will cease to exist three years from now.
How do you tell the people? Do you tell the people? What will you tell them instead if you choose not to warn them of what may come?

Two Years Until The End
Your Oracles have spent the past year looking deeper into the future and found that the darkness for your Kingdom never dissipates. However, they have looked into the futures of other Kingdoms in their search for answers, and found that their futures that have once existed now seem to be going dark as well...They are looking further and further out into the different futures of each Kingdom to find out either the solution or the source, but that will likely take at least another year of scrying.
In the meantime, your kingdom requires your attention...

One Year Until The End
Your Oracles stand before you, their expressions grim. They tell you they have found a solution, as well as a possible source for the impending darkness. They tell you about the future of three of Kingdoms that they have seen…
The first Kingdom they saw succeeded in pushing back the creeping darkness and reclaimed their future...However, it required a ritual in which their Ruler gave up their own life in order to spare their people. They explain that one way for you to save your Kingdom will be through your sacrifice.
The second Kingdom they saw also succeeded in saving themselves...However, it required the blood of its citizens. Their ruler's ritual required the hearts of a hundred citizens, many of them innocents. They explain that another way for you to save the greater whole of your Kingdom -- and yourself -- will be through the sacrifices of many of your own people.
The third Kingdom...This one still lost its future, the Oracles tell you, but the very moment before the Kingdom fell to nothingness they saw its ruler step outside of time entirely, with such purposefulness and deliberate action that they are certain the ruler knew what they were doing. It's a confusing sight to your Oracles and they do not know what to make of it, but perhaps you could glean some information that they could not…
Still, whatever you choose, you do have one last responsibility to your Kingdom…
Part 2: Did you execute the
TraitorCONSPIRACIST? Why or why not? - I'M SORRY, but Owain would have definitely talked to the Conspiracist more and tried to work something out with them? Because they are clearly a person who cares deeply for their home and that's someone that Owain would want on his side (in spite of them forging documents orz). But Owain would continue to be honest and answer any other questions the Conspiracist had for him. If he managed to get the Conspiracist on his side, he would ask for them for help in keeping unrest in the other Kingdoms at bay and would also ask for advice on things he could do to help with that unrest as well. But in the end, no matter if the Conspiracist allies with him or not, Owain wouldn't execute them.
Part 3: Did you sacrifice yourself or the people? Or did you try to step out of the decision? How did you inform the people.
OWAIN WOULD 10000000% SACRIFICE HIMSELF. And he would make a more dramatic speech than he did in the first part, during which he would list out the rules of succession (whatever the Head Oracle and Head Advisor suggest as being the best way to do so).

Part 2: NAH execution isn't going to deter people like the Traitor, who was willing to take the risk. There's no point killing someone when there's only 2 years left anyways, so why scare everybody. He pppppprobably would have just had the Traitor confined within the country, hey half the castle staff has probably bailed you work for me now, you can give your tiny paycheck to take care of your relatives.
Part 3: Tell the citizenry the details, and ask for volunteers from soldiers, the sick, rebel prisoners like the Traitor, and the elderly for Option #2. Promise compensation in money, land, or property. If he can't get 100, go to Option #1-- make this also clear to the populace, guys you need to be aware that countries that lose their head-of-state suddenly have a hard time but ok.
